Redmond Company Working on NASA’s Future Mission to the Moon

Aerojet Rocketdyne is working on “Artemis”, NASA’s Apollo’s twin sister. According to the Don Mahr, the company’s program director, Artemis will allow human to explore the entirety of the moon and open up endless potential. Artemis 1, the first in this new series is expected to be launched this year. Redmond will be proud to claim that the engine of the Orion spacecraft is locally made. The company has been operating in the city for more than 50 years and has provided employment to more than 400 employees. With the plan to spearhead NASA’s project, Aerojet Rocketdye will surely need more manpower in the coming years.
